How to Transfer Stardew Valley Android Saves to PC
Transferring files is quite an easy and straightforward process that doesn’t require much time. To back up your save files, just create a copy of folders and move it somewhere else.
So here are the steps:

- Connect your Android and transfer files to your PC
- Locate Stardew Valley Folder
- Launch Stardew Valley and load your save file
Step 1: Locate your save files in your android storage
To locate the files, open file explorer on your phone and go to internal storage. If you have version 1.4 (in other words if you didn’t update the game) find the Stardew Valley folder and save the files that are located inside, but it’s best to update the game. If you have version 1.5 go to Android/data/com.chucklefish.stardewvalley/files/saves.
Step 2: Connect your Android and transfer files to your PC
Use a USB cable, or if something isn’t working as intended you can try some data transfer software from your Android manufacturer. However, if you have some real problems, you can always send files by Bluetooth, or upload the files from android to DropBox or Google Drive and then download them on your PC. If you decide to transfer them through DropBox or the Google Drive option, you’ll automatically backup files there. But if you transfer them through USB, just create a file clone.
Step 3: Locate Stardew Valley Folder
Once you have the save file on your PC, you’ll need to move it to the correct folder so that Stardew Valley can recognize it. The save file for Stardew Valley on PC is located in the following folder: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\StardewValley\Saves. Replace YourUserName with your actual Windows username. Paste the save file or files from your Android device into this folder.
Step 4: Launch Stardew Valley and load your save file
Finally, launch Stardew Valley on your PC and load your transferred save file. You should now be able to continue playing the game from where you left off on your Android device.
Transferring Stardew Valley Save Files from PC to Android
The process is the same as the previous one but just reversed. However, keep in mind that android received Stardew Valley version 1.5 recently while PC is running Stardew Valley version 1.5.6 so some features, debugs, etc. could be unavailable. Luckily nothing too big arrived with new versions so if you decide to move to android, you won’t lose too much.
How to Transfer Stardew Valley IOS Save to PC
If you are an IOS user who wants to switch to PC, follow these instructions.
Step 1: Locate your save files in the IOS storage / connect to your PC
Tap the Browse button on the bottom-right side of the screen (on iPhone) or the top-left button to show the left sidebar menu (on iPad). Under the Locations section, tap On My iPhone/iPad. Find the Stardew Valley folder which contains your save files.

As I already said, paste your save files to C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\StardewValley\Saves.

The process is almost the same as the one above. Find Stardew save files on your PC. Then you know the drill, connect the device, and run iTunes. Follow the steps from above till you get to Stardew Valley Documents. From there click the “add” button (on the right side), and select your save files folder ( preferably a copy of it). Every save folder needs to be in the root section of Stardew Valley Documents for this can work. The last thing to do is to synchronize your IOS device with your PC by the sync button.

Issue number two the game can’t read transferred save files because of the version issue. Make sure to update the game on your Android and IOS if you want to play on a PC.
