How do I start the Oracle of Ages trading sequence?

Help the Poe in Yoll Graveyard (Present). After his last meeting, the game awards TRADEITEM_POE_CLOCK ($00). Take that clock to the Postman in Lynna Village.

Where is the Stink Bag?

Trade Stationery to the Toilet Hand in Lynna Village (Present). Script: INTERAC_TOILET_HAND checks TRADEITEM_STATIONERY and gives subid $02.

Rafton will not take the Magic Oar

Rafton’s trade script only opens after checkEssenceObtained, $02 — you need the third essence (Moonlit Grotto) first. Talk to Rafton in the right side of his South Shore house while holding the Magic Oar.

Where is Patch / how do I get the Noble Sword?

Patch lives at Restoration Wall in the Past. Bring the Broken Sword from Old Zora, then clear his repair minigame to receive the Noble Sword.

How do I get the Magic Oar from Maple?

Hold the Touching Book and keep exploring until Maple crashes into you. Her special trade replaces the book with the Magic Oar — defeat 30 enemies (15 with Maple’s Ring) to force encounters faster.
