Fish Market table

Every fish sale price band

The market checks the length of each caught fish. Species and fishing method do not change the standard payout.

Boundary check: 10 cm is 15 G, 30 cm is 25 G, 50 cm is 40 G, and 80 cm is 50 G. The 80 G tier begins at 81 cm.

Before you sell

Keep progression fish; sell ordinary duplicates

Gold helps with rods, tackle, food, and inns, but one early sale can delay a useful exchange.
Keep

Quest and exchange fish

Hold any named target from your current walkthrough step. Early examples include Opaleye for Surf Rod(S), Red Seabream for Trolling R.30, and Yellowtail for Boat Rod(S).

Keep

Contest candidates

Do not cash in an unusually large catch before checking the local contest or reward requirement.

Sell

Memo duplicates

Once a species is logged and not reserved for a trade, ordinary duplicates are the safest source of routine Gold.

Plan

Match the next purchase

Use the target field to turn a 300 G rod, an 800 G trolling rod, or any other purchase into a catch count.

FAQ

Fish value questions

Does species affect price?

Not in the standard Fish Market table. The caught length selects the payout tier, so different species at the same length sell for the same amount.

Why does the fish selector show an average?

Average size helps set expectations and choose hook size. It is not a guaranteed catch length or a substitute for the number shown on your caught fish.

Can I calculate a mixed bag?

Calculate each length band separately, then add the totals. A single quantity assumes every fish entered has the same sale value.

Does this change my save?

No. The calculator runs only in the browser and never reads or modifies a cartridge or emulator save.
