Completing this quest rewards you with 100 friendship points for each villager you’ve met and unlocks the “Getting Started” quest.

You start with some free time in the morning, perfect for some light farm work. Until 1:30 PM, you can till the land, plant seeds, or water your crops. But don’t get too lost in farming; you have a busy day ahead.
Midday Routine: The Southern Expedition
At 1:30 PM, leave your farm through the southern exit. You’ll find Jas dancing beneath a tree to the left. After your meeting, head towards the river. Here, you’ll find Haley taking pictures. A quick chat and you’re off to the Cindersap Forest to forage for spring onions. Although this side task consumes about 30 minutes, it’s worth the effort. If you decide to skip the onion picking, your schedule will be slightly more lenient.
Afternoon Agenda: The Town Circuit
After leaving the forest, you can either head to the town square to meet Jodi and Caroline or directly go to the blacksmith. I recommend heading straight for Clint, the blacksmith, as his shop closes at 4:00 PM. If you miss this time, you’ll have to wait until 7:00 PM when he heads to the Saloon.
Sam, Shane, and Pam are usually found at Joja Mart around this time. However, it’s more time-efficient to meet them later when they are back in town.
