In Stardew Valley, There is a quest in that you received a secret note(#25) informing you about an ornate necklace hidden in the outdoor spa fountain. You must fish it out of the water by the spa during any season except Winter(in winter, the pool will be frozen), and then give it to Abigail or Caroline.
How do I give the ornate necklace to NPC?
To give the Ornate Necklace to an NPC, you’ll need to have it in your inventory first. Simply approach the NPC you wish to give it to and speak to them – the game will automatically attempt to give them the necklace. However, it can only be given to Caroline or Abigail. If you try and give it to anyone else, you’ll receive a dialogue telling you “Wrong Person”. Giving the Ornate Necklace to Caroline gives you 50 Friendship points with her. Giving it to Abigail, meanwhile, gets you 100 Friendship points.

Abigail’s Location
An issue with the ornate necklace disappearing from the player’s backpack
If you tried to give it to Abigail and found the necklace disappeared from your inventory, you may be out of luck. It seems that if you try to give the necklace to her while she’s in the mines, you’ll get a message saying “Wrong Person”. This may be because you’re trying to give it to her at a higher level than she normally is in the mines. If you’re looking to give the necklace to someone else, it might be best to try another person.
An issue with not being able to sell the ornate necklace
You can’t sell it because it’s an unsellable item.
How to find the secret note
Secret Notes are a type of note that players need to collect in the game. You need to walk from the farm to the bus stop between 6 am and 4 pm in winter to trigger the animation. In the animation, you will see a shadow Guy (looking like a Krobus) get scared and run away.

When you follow the Shadow Guy’s footprints to the playground on the left side of the community center and shake the shrubs there, the Shadow Guy will suddenly appear and start apologizing for his theft, giving you a magnifying glass and then fleeing. After you got the magnifying glass, daily hoeing, cutting trees, mining, fishing or fighting monsters have a certain chance to find the secret note.
