How to Catch Kittyfish in Stardew Valley Expanded 1.15.11
How to Get Kittyfish in SVE
In Stardew Valley Expanded 1.15.11, Kittyfish becomes catchable only after Camilla's event 69069247. The event is a fall cutscene reached through late-game Camilla progression; after seeing it, fish at Shearwater Bridge in fall or winter.
Step 1: See Willy's prerequisite event
Event 1054932 triggers when you enter the Farm under all of these conditions:
- Fishing level 5 or higher.
- Any season except winter.
- Between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
The old Fishing level 8 requirement belongs to catching Kittyfish itself, not to this Willy event.
Step 2: Reach Camilla's progression gate
You must also have seen at least one of these Camilla-related events:
908079, the Crimson Badlands introduction in the Ominous Cavern; or7775926, the Junimo Scroll scene in the Apples special-order chain.
Step 3: Trigger the Kittyfish cutscene
- Wait until fall.
- After completing both prerequisites above, enter Pelican Town.
- Event
69069247moves you to Shearwater Bridge, where Camilla summons Kittyfish into the river.
The event has no time-of-day or weather requirement. Spring, summer and winter are explicitly excluded, so the summoning cutscene itself is fall-only.

Kittyfish pond data
SVE sets SpawnTime to -1. Stardew Valley 1.6.15 resolves that automatically from the fish's 250g price to a four-day population growth interval, provided the next population gate is open.
| Population | Source row | Quantity |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | Cloth, item 428, 10% row chance | 1–3 |
| 5+ | Wool, item 440, 25% row chance | 1–3 |
| Any populated pond | Roe, item 812, 100% fallback row | 1 |
Those percentages are checked only after the pond's daily production roll and in the listed order; they are not three independent daily totals. At 10 fish, the base production roll is 95%, giving overall daily probabilities of 9.5% Cloth, 21.375% Wool, 64.125% Roe and 5% no new output, before any uncollected-output or Golden Animal Cracker effects.
The population requests are 15 Strange Buns at the 3-fish gate and 3 Sashimi at the 7-fish gate.
Recipe and collection notes
Kittyfish is included in both the fishing and shipping collections. It is a normal fish-category item, so it can be used in generic-fish recipes such as Sashimi, Maki Roll and Quality Fertilizer; none of those recipes specifically requires Kittyfish.
