Egg Hunt Routes for Stardew Valley 1.6: Year 1, Alternate Layout and Multiplayer

Egg Hunt Routes for Stardew Valley 1.6: Year 1, Alternate Layout and Multiplayer

The Egg Festival takes place on Spring 13. Stardew Valley 1.6 includes two Town festival layouts, so a route made for the original Year 1 layout can point to the wrong places when the alternate layout is active.

Open the interactive Egg Hunt route planner. Select Layout A for the original/Year 1 map or Layout B for the alternate Year 2 map; later years continue the game’s alternating festival cycle.

Layout A: original / Year 1

The planner overlays the local Layout A egg coordinates and builds a route from the player start.

Layout B: alternate / Year 2

Layout B changes festival scenery and egg positions; the 13-stop Layout A route does not apply to this map.

Route tips that apply to both maps

  1. Choose the correct map before memorizing a route.
  2. Use short loops with few direction reversals; pathing time matters more than collecting every egg.
  3. Aim one or two eggs above your threshold so a missed interaction does not cost the win.
  4. In multiplayer, do not assume every player needs nine eggs—the local threshold changes with participant count.
