How to grow Poppies in every season

  • Outdoor farm: plant in Summer. A seed planted no later than Summer 21 can finish its seven growth days by Summer 28 without growth-speed bonuses.
  • Greenhouse: normal crops are season-independent, so Poppies can be planted at any time.
  • Ginger Island: crop seasons do not restrict planting, so Poppies can grow year-round.
  • Garden Pot indoors: use a valid indoor location after Garden Pots are available; ordinary outdoor season restrictions do not apply indoors.

Why the gift is “controversial”

Poppy is a poor general-purpose gift because most villagers dislike or hate it. Penny is the important exception: she loves Poppy. Check the recipient before handing over a valuable flower.

Planning takeaway

Use 100g as Pierre’s seed cost and 140g as the normal-quality crop value. The simple normal-quality margin is therefore 40g per harvested flower before fertilizer, profession effects, Honey strategy, or processing opportunity costs.
