Chicken Statue artifact and furniture reward

Where the artifact comes from

• Farm Artifact Spots: local object 113 assigns a 10% chance when the relevant artifact spot is dug on the Farm.
• Fishing Treasure Chests: the artifact can appear through the fishing treasure artifact route.
• Artifact Troves: cracking a Trove can also produce it.

Ordinary sand-colored soil is not a general 10% source. Look for the moving-stem Artifact Spot and hoe that tile; repeatedly tilling unrestricted sandy ground is not equivalent.

Exact museum reward condition

The local museum reward entry named chicken checks both of these conditions:

• the donated collection contains artifact (O)113 Chicken Statue;
• the museum contains at least five artifacts in total.

The reward is furniture (F)1305 Chicken Statue. Donation order does not matter: you do not have to acquire four other artifacts before the Chicken Statue. You only need the Chicken Statue donation and the five-artifact total when the reward becomes available.

Other uses and duplicates

Cloth plus the artifact has a local Sewing Machine recipe for shirt (S)1235. Extra artifacts can also be sold for their 50g base value after the museum and tailoring needs are covered. The furniture reward is decorative and is not the same inventory artifact.
