Stardew Valley Late-Game Money Guide: Reproducible Profit Models
A profit ranking is only useful when every denominator is visible
Claims such as “30 million in seven hours” or “millions per mining session” cannot be compared without scale, capital, professions, cycle length, downtime, player actions, and whether “hour” means real time or in-game time. Use one ledger for every strategy:
Net per in-game day = (units × output per unit × sale price × profession multiplier − recurring input cost) ÷ cycle days.
Three reproducible machine examples

These are per-machine gross comparisons, not whole-farm rankings. Multiply by actual active capacity, subtract recurring inputs, then disclose setup value and actions per cycle.
Animals and mining need different ledgers
- Sheep: state the animal count, Barns, 4,000g purchase price per Sheep, maturity, friendship, Shepherd profession, Wool quality, Loom use, feed, winter/rain assumptions, and collection cadence.
- Mining: record bombs, staircases, food, traded Jade, run duration, deaths, consumed materials, and the exact saleable loot. Do not call gross inventory value “net profit.”
- Labor: report both in-game days and measured real minutes when comparing active mining with passive machines.
Statue of Perfection duplication does not work in 1.6.15
Grandpa’s shrine checks whether a Statue of Perfection already exists before granting one, so full-inventory and drop-and-repeat duplication is not a current income strategy.
