Stardew Valley Mountain Lake and Mine Fishing Guide
Mountain Lake vs. Mine Fishing
The fenced shoreline, bridges, Carpenter's Shop approach, Mine entrance, and Adventurer's Guild all identify the Mountain Lake. They do not describe an underground lake. There is no current fish named “Magma Sparker.”
Mountain Lake
The Mountain Lake is east of Robin's Carpenter's Shop and below the Mine entrance. Its roster includes staples such as Largemouth Bass, Carp, Bullhead, and Chub, plus seasonal/time/weather targets including Rainbow Trout, Sturgeon, Walleye, Midnight Carp, and the spring legendary fish Legend. Use the exact fish's season, weather, time, and fishing-level rule rather than treating every lake target as always available.
Mine-floor fishing
| Mine floor | Water target | Current fish |
|---|---|---|
| 20 | Underground lake | Ghostfish and Stonefish |
| 60 | Frozen underground lake | Ghostfish and Ice Pip |
| 100 | Lava lake | Lava Eel |
These mine lakes are separate fishing contexts from the outdoor Mountain Lake. A high fishing zone improves quality and treasure behavior where applicable; it does not transform one location's fish pool into another's.
