How to Unlock the Highlands with Lance in SVE 1.15.11

Unlocking the Highlands

The Highlands is reached by Marlon's boat at Adventurer Summit. The normal route begins after meeting Lance at the Volcano Caldera and raising him to two hearts.

1. Meet Lance

Reach the Volcano Forge/Caldera on Ginger Island and watch Lance's introduction. A later sunny-morning farm event formally adds him to your SVE progression.

2. Trigger Marlon's Boat

The usual farm event 65360182 requires at least 2 hearts with Lance and Lance's earlier farm introduction. SVE also has an alternate late-game trigger for players who have the Galaxy Sword, Skull Key, and either Movie Theater route. After Marlon's morning message, visit the Adventurer's Guild for event 65360183; SVE's code then adds the Marlon's Boat order to the team quest log.

3. Deliver the monster parts

Deliver each stack directly to Marlon before the month-long special order expires. Although the order definition itself carries the tag event_65360182, the current SVE code waits for Guild event 65360183 before adding it to the quest log.

4. Use the boat at Adventurer Summit

Completing the order sets the marlonsBoat flag. The next farm event is 65360184; after it, the summit map gains the Highlands boat access point. Go to Adventurer Summit for introductory event 65360185. Future trips start from the same boat.

Monster Crops and the Diamond Wand

After the Highlands introduction, enter the Highlands for event 65360186. That event mails 24 Life Elixirs, and SVE's code then adds Lance's month-long Monster Crops order to the quest log. Deliver one crop from each seasonal line:

• Spring: Slime Berry
• Summer: Monster Fruit
• Fall: Monster Mushroom
• Winter: Void Root

Deliver one of each to Lance. Completion sets the lanceMonsterCrops flag; the short farmhouse transition is event 65360187, and farm event 65360188 gives the Diamond Wand.
