Where Is the Glacierfish in Stardew Valley Expanded?
Glacierfish location in SVE
In Stardew Valley Expanded 1.15.11, the Glacierfish spot is still in Cindersap Forest, but the expanded map gives it a different landmark. Go to the narrow river crevice directly south of Andy's farm, stand on the thin point of land between the two sections of water, and cast into the deep water.
Catch requirements
| Season | Winter |
|---|---|
| Time | 6:00 AM–8:00 PM |
| Fishing level | 6 or higher |
| Weather | Any |
| Minimum cast distance | 3 tiles from shore |
| Normal catch limit | One per player |
| Base sell price | 1,000g before quality and professions |
The local 1.6.15 location record restricts the player's standing position to tiles x 58–59, y 87–88 on the Forest map. Its CatchLimit is one per player, so each player in a multiplayer save can catch their own Glacierfish under the normal rule. The often-quoted 1,875g value is not the base price; it requires a quality/profession combination. Catching Glacierfish contributes to catching every fish and the Master Angler achievement.
Best setup
- Use an Iridium Rod with a Trap Bobber to slow the escape bar.
- Eat Seafoam Pudding or another Fishing buff before casting.
- Cast as far from shore as the spot allows.
Glacierfish is not specifically required for Sashimi, Maki Roll, or Quality Fertilizer; those recipes accept a generic Fish ingredient.
