Achieving 100% Progress in Stardew Valley: A Deep Dive into Crafting Recipes and Materials

Stardew Valley’s Perfection tracker requires you to craft every recipe that counts for your save at least once. This page covers vanilla Stardew Valley 1.6.15 and uses the installed game’s crafting recipes asset rather than an older hand-written list.

The Numbers at a Glance

  • Total recipes in the data asset: 150
  • Recipes counted for this single-player material plan: 149 (the co-op Wedding Ring is excluded)
  • Distinct ingredient identifiers: 88

crafting recipes

The quantities below are the direct inputs needed to craft one of every listed single-player recipe once. They do not recursively expand ingredients that are themselves crafted: for example, the Heavy Furnace row requires two already-crafted Furnaces, and the Deluxe Worm Bin requires one Worm Bin. “Any fish” and “Any Wild Seeds” are category inputs, not specific item IDs. Mods can add or change recipes, so modded saves should use the in-game Advanced Crafting Information option as the final check.

Material Categories

Use the full table for exact totals, but these groups help with storage:

  1. Basic materials: Wood, Stone, Fiber, Hardwood, Sap, Clay, Battery Packs, Moss, and tree syrups.
  2. Ores and bars: Coal, Copper, Iron, Gold, Iridium, Radioactive Ore, Radioactive Bars, and Refined Quartz.
  3. Monster Drops: Slime, Bone Fragments, Solar Essence, Void Essence, Bat Wing, and Bug Meat.

The largest direct totals are Stone (2,059), Fiber (1,328), Sap (1,082), Wood (953), Moss (402), Hardwood (233), and Slime (220). Reserve those before mass-producing fences, fertilizer, or other expendables. Radioactive materials, Dragon Teeth, Cinder Shards, the three Jellies, and Mystic Syrup are smaller totals but have later-game access requirements.

Crafting Tips

  1. Turn on Advanced Crafting Information in Options. The crafting menu will then show how many times each item has been crafted.
  2. Collect every recipe first. Friendship, skill, shop, festival, Special Order, Ginger Island, Qi, Mastery, and late-game recipes all matter; a material stockpile cannot compensate for a missing recipe.
  3. Craft one-off items deliberately. Easy-to-overlook examples include the Marble Brazier, Farm Computer, seasonal decorations, and recipes received by mail.
  4. Do a final in-game check. This table describes vanilla 1.6.15 inputs, while the save file tracks what your character has actually crafted.

Conclusion: Courage for 100% Progress

Work from the rare materials and missing recipes first, then use Advanced Crafting Information to close the final gaps. If your game version or mod list differs, regenerate the totals from that installation rather than assuming this 1.6.15 table still applies.
