Pesce
Aquatic boss for N4 Bank of the Wild River. The arena is in room 16 on the default Day map, with strong water current and flying support spawners.
Bring Swimming Flippers (S3 Gray Chest) before this fight. Prince Frog’s Gloves help push against the current if you already own them. Dodge dragonflies and flies while you strike Pesce until the defeat sequence clears the arena.

FAQ
Bank of the Wild River FAQ
How do you unlock Bank of the Wild River?
Play the Blue Music Box from W4 A Town in Chaos (Red Chest). That overworld event opens N4 Bank of the Wild River and N5 The Tidal Coast together on the North map.
How do I open the Gray / Grey Chest in Bank of the Wild River?
Find the matching Gray Key in the river room set (rooms 0, 10, 20, 21, 22, 24, or 29 depending on map state), carry it to the Gray Chest in the same room family, and open it for the Trident.
What does the Trident do in Wario Land 3?
The Trident pairs with the Yellow Book from N5 The Tidal Coast. Together they call lightning over the canyon and open S4 The Steep Canyon from The Big Bridge—an important mid-game South route.
What does the Magnifying Glass do?
It enables the overworld magnifying-glass view so you can inspect the map more closely. It is not required to open new levels, but it is useful navigation quality-of-life and counts toward full treasure completion.
How many Musical Coins are in Bank of the Wild River?
Eight—the same as every other level. Use the coin table above or the full Musical Coins Finder if you are missing one for 100% side goals.
How do you beat Pesce?
Enter the boss arena in room 16 with Swimming Flippers. Work against the strong current, dodge dragonfly and fly spawners, and keep hitting Pesce until the retreat sequence clears the fight. Prince Frog’s Gloves help if currents are overwhelming.
Is Bank of the Wild River required for the ending?
The Trident is an important mid-game route item for Steep Canyon access with the Yellow Book. The other N4 treasures support variants, overworld tools, and 100% completion rather than the five Music Box temple ending set itself.
