Stardew Valley’s endgame phase gives the player a lot of room to breathe as there are fewer tasks to do, and those that are available are optional. That means that players can focus on earning gold as much as they can, and today I will talk about the best way to earn gold in Stardew Valley’s endgame with every mechanic.
Farming
At this point, you have both the Greenhouse and the Island Farm. Furthermore, in this game phase, you’ll want to focus on artisan goods as they are the best way to earn money. However, first I need to explain some important things for setting up the money-making field.
Barns and Coops
Animals are not profitable in the endgame so if you have more than one barn and coop, it’s best to decrease their amount to one of each and keep profitable animals, and one of each kind. Animals require hay which you won’t be able to grow if you decide to earn a great amount of gold by committing yourself to farm and making goods. However, if you want to focus on animals you can, just prioritize those that give the most profit like Ostriches and Golden Chickens, and make sure to leave plenty of space to grow some grass if you don’t want to spend money on buying them.
Sheds
Build at least 3 or 4 Sheds (preferably in areas where you can’t grow any crops) and fill them with kegs. You can leave some space for you to move around and gather the wine, or you can remove kegs with your Axe, Pickaxe or Hoe. It’s best to fill all of your kegs on the same day so you can obtain all the wine at once.
Casks
Craft 189 casks and fill your cellars with them. Begin by placing them in one corner and putting wine in them, and then work your way to the entrance. Always leave 189 Wines when you gather them from kegs.
Crops
With a money-making field prepared now, you are ready to plant the most valuable crops. For your main farm, I’ll divide the crops by seasons, unlike for the Greenhouse and the Island farm as any crop can grow there no matter the season.
In the tables, I’ll include the base sell price1, sell price with tiller skill, wine sell price, wine sell price with artisan skill, pickle price, and pickle price with artisan skill.

The Greenhouse and the Island farm
For these two it’s best to grow Ancient Fruti, Starfruit, Cranberries (as they regrow) and Pineapple.
Choice is yours
However, you are already in the stage of the game in which you can choose what you want to grow, so if you are not after an immense amount of gold, any crop is the best one.
Mining
As for mining, before you proceed to make profit from gems and ores, it’s important to use them to craft everything that is needed and if you want to go to the extreme, everything that is possible to craft.
Then my advice is to save them up as gifts, but if you don’t want to or if you already have maximum friendship with characters you like (or all of them), then you can sell all gems you find.
Same goes for ores as it’s better to sell them raw, but keep iron for making bombs that will make your mining expeditions easier.
Craft as many bombs as you can and head to the Quarry or the Skull cavern and wreak havoc there to make a profit.
Fishing
When it comes to fishing, you’ll want to turn to the ponds. You can get tons of caviar but first, you will need some Preserve Jars. Then build Ponds (there aren’t any limits so if you love fish go for it), and catch some fish to habit it.
The best fish for ponds are Sturgeon, Lava Eel, Blobfish, and Rainbow trout.
Once you place the fish into pounds make sure to fulfill their requests and soon you will make an easy profit by selling high-quality homemade caviar.
Conclusion
That would be it on this subject. The strategies I gave you are my unique personal strategy as I didn’t want to copy others and instead I intended to pass on my knowledge to you. The strategy is profitable and farming-focused, but it does the job very well, and you will be richer in no time.
