Checklist walk
Do a full loop of 1F rooms → kitchen → 2F rooms → B1F rooms before the captain corridor so you never soft-miss candy.
Electric for water
Pikachu Thunder Shock / Thunderbolt melts Sailor teams and saves potions for the Rival.
Cut trees next
After Misty’s badge, Cut opens side routes and Vermilion Gym’s front tree before the trash-can switches.
Old Rod in Vermilion
