How to beat Scowler
Scowler
Large North island boss for N6 Sea Turtle Rocks. The arena is in room 13 on the Day map—the same room that holds the Gray Chest for the Green Music Box—and uses floating-ring spawners for the main movement pattern.
Stay mobile on the ring cycle, watch tentacle and ink pressure, then finish the color-change defeat sequence so the arena clears. Scowler is optional for the Music Box grab if you can secure the Gray Chest without the full fight clean-up.

Arena reveal
Scowler fills the arena as the encounter begins. Learn the safe floor space before committing to long dashes.
Ring cycle
Floating rings create the main movement and positioning pattern. Use them to stay above hazards and line up hits.
Ink + defeat
Tentacles and ink extend the attack pattern. After the final hits, Scowler changes color and the arena clears.

Enter from The Tidal Coast
After Garlic opens the northern path, walk from N5 into N6. Bring Swimming Flippers if you still struggle with water routes on the coast approach.
Gray Key → Green Music Box
Hunt the Gray Key in the island room family (rooms 0, 5, 10, 15, 22, 28), carry it to the Gray Chest in room 13, leave with the Green Music Box, and play it on the overworld.
Revisit N6 later
Come back for Golden Right Eye, Sun Medallion (Top), Full Moon Gong, Musical Coins, and Scowler when Scepter, Super Jump Slam, or Night Vision Scope unlock remaining rooms.
