FIRST CLEAR PRIORITY
Open the Gray Chest for the Mystery Handle, then loop back to Forest of Fear
Carry the Gray Key to the Gray Chest and take the Mystery Handle. It unlocks Forest of Fear V3, where the Red Key Card and Warp Removal Apparatus open. Grab Demon’s Blood next for Forest of Fear V4, then finish Brown Crayon and Heart Crest for golf and crest collection.

How to open The Warped Void
Warp Compact → void beyond the forest → E5
Collect the Warp Compact from the Gray Chest in E7 Forest of Fear. On the overworld it reveals E5 The Warped Void beyond the forest.
Forest of Fear itself opens after the Torch from E3 Castle of Illusions burns the forest vines. Once E5 is visible, prioritize the Gray Chest Mystery Handle so Forest of Fear V3 unlocks for the Key Cards and Warp Removal Apparatus.

E5 has four progression variants on both Day and Night. Variant 1 is available as soon as the Warp Compact reveals the level. Later variants open after you collect specific treasures in Forest of Fear:

Hunt the Gray Key in rooms 15 / 28, open the Gray Chest, leave the level, and confirm Forest of Fear V3 is open for Key Cards and Warp Removal.
Demon’s Blood + E7 revisit
Open the Green Chest when the route is clear, then return to Forest of Fear for Warp Removal Apparatus and both Key Cards so E5 V2–V4 unlock.
Crayon, Crest & coins
Finish Brown Crayon, Heart Crest, remaining Musical Coins, and any late rooms that only open on V2–V4.
