Pokemon Yellow Rocket Hideout
Drop through the Game Corner poster, ride the spinner floors, grab the Lift Key, and beat Giovanni for the Silph Scope—the key that unlocks Pokémon Tower ghosts and the Poké Flute chain. Use the interactive route tracker with map pins below.
Fast answer
Poster → spinners → key → Scope
Open the secret stairs in the Celadon Game Corner, descend, solve B2F/B3F arrow mazes, take the Lift Key on B4F, elevator to Giovanni’s wing, defeat Jessie & James and Giovanni, then pick up the Silph Scope.

Spinner route tracker
Mark each stage done. Tips and map pins stay synced with the Yellow hideout layout.
Spinner rule
Forced-arrow tiles keep sliding you until a wall or stop tile ends the movement. Aim for the correct entry edge, not every mid-path tile.
Lift Key lock
Elevators are useless until the B4F Grunt drops the Lift Key. Grab it before looping elevators forever.
Silph Scope prize
After Giovanni, take the Scope. Without it, Tower “ghosts” cannot be battled properly.
Entrance reminder
If you cannot find stairs, return to the Game Corner poster switch—see the Game Corner guide for coin context while you are upstairs.

Tips
Clear faster
Optional loot first
B2F/B3F hold Moon Stone, TMs, Rare Candy, and Nuggets. Grab them while solving spinners so you do not backtrack after the Scope.
Save before Giovanni
His team hits harder than random Grunts. Stock Super Potions from the floors above.
Scope → Tower same session
Once you have Silph Scope, Lavender Tower is the natural next story beat for Fuji and the Poké Flute.
Money route
Rocket trainers pay well mid-game—pair with the Resources tool if you are stocking Ultra Balls for later Snorlax.
